Poly-L-lactic acid is a synthetic polymer that is completely biocompatible with the human body. Subcutaneous administration of the polylactic acid-based filler causes tissue healing and volume restoration due to continuous active collagen production. As a result, a dense collagen framework is formed, which will remain even after the product is removed from the body.

Poly-L-lactic acid as a filler has several significant advantages:
Where is polylactic acid used?
It has been actively used in cosmetology for more than 20 years to produce fillers and mesofilaments. PLLA injections are recommended at an age when the body’s self-produced collagen decreases.
This process begins around the age of 20 and actively progresses from 30 to 40 years. A significant loss of collagen causes the formation of wrinkles and the skin remains “empty”, sagging. PLLA, as mentioned above, fills the collagen deficiency. In most cases, polylactic acid is used in cosmetology to restore lost volume. However, its range of use is somewhat wider.
A whole series of age-related changes can be solved by using a PLLA filler.
